Dear sweet jesus, how I hate those god-awful Hummer commercials. You know the ones -- a man is seen buying massive amounts of tofu, or a woman's son (and then the woman herself) is bullied on the playground, and they immediately run out and buy a Hummer to make themselves look tough. Here's an alternative -- develop a spine, you miserable wimps. Gah!

On the upside, I guess the commercial is verifying what I've always suspected -- Hummer owners are compensating for their shortcomings, their sheer ball-lessness, with a big, stupid car.

In other news, the gods of weight loss are cruel -- the only articles of clothing that are starting to get to big are my bras. That's just not right.
