In other "my friends rock" news, Pastor Tripp's installation ceremony at his church is taking place today. I have no idea what it takes to install a pastor, but Dawn and Dean suspected it may involve a service tech scheduled to show up at some point between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. but actually arriving at about 4 p.m. three days later, several phone calls to the main office, and the discovery that the church has incompatible wiring for Tripp and they need to wait for an adaptor, which is being sent from an office in New Mexico by armadillo and should reach Wilmette in approximately eight weeks, unless it doesn't.
